Hey Wayne, I’m 48 & have some dry crepe-like skin under the inner corner of my eyes….would this concealer look smoother or might it settle into fine lines?
I’m a Bobbi Brown makeup artist, and I have to mention that you’re supposed to layer concealer over top of the corrector. The corrector is simply to counteract any blue and purple hues in your under eye and then you place the concealer over top of that to blend it in to meet your skin tone.
And for you, I would stick with bisque for your corrector, because it looks like you’re naturally that bright, as opposed to wearing makeup to brighten.
I am fair with blue green circles so which color is best?
It doesn’t settle into the fine lines?
Love the bisque on you, really brightens the eye. I was wondering if this serum concealer dries down to a matte as opposed to leaving shine under the eyes? I have a hard time with liquid concealers because they tend to be too shiny and accentuate dark circles. I have more mature skin so adding powder to set under the eye doesn’t always look so good. I love the NARS concealer because it is more matte but it does dry out very quickly. Thanks!
I’m a fan of the bisque! The other side looks great too, just less brightening and more matching to your skin tone…I could be completely wrong. But you look beautiful anyways!
The Bisque looks very natural, and it doesn’t looks like it will crease. Will check out.
It’s strange: there is a ton of people on Sephora who say it creases and settles in fine lines even if set with a powder and that it’s very drying. I had it applied at a Bobbi Brown counter a couple of weeks ago and I too seemed to notice some creasing. I so want to like it, but I’m not sure what to think.
the Bisque is PERFECTION on you
Bisque. 😉
Definetly Bisque for you, look amazing in your skin. In my case I have a latino skin and everybody told me that I have to used warm foundation ( yellow tones) . my question is if i have to use the concealers or correctors in the same warm tone? any recomendations?
Hello Wayne! Thank you for all the videos, I really enjoy and learn from them. I did notice about 4 years ago, you had some very small white dots under your eyes, right where your bags were. I have them, they made me very sad. I noticed they weren’t there anymore, how did you go about getting rid of them? I find this area never looks good with makeup on because of the white dots.
Bisque. love it.
what color is on your left. the other is way to yellow.
hi Wayne, I really enjoy your videos. I was wondering if you have or will test out the bare minerals bare skin complete coverage concealer serum? I am pretty in love with my bare minerals, for ages now, since I was 29. As I have gotten older, 45 now, well, my under eye is starting to be a bit darker, fine lines at the corners starting to show up too. have used benefit boing for a long time, coverage is great, but now it settles in the creases and lines, NOT great. saw this on the BB and was just wondering. Thanks for any advice or thoughts, you help us all feel beautiful inside and out. cheers 🙂
Does it crease? (For those of us with wrinkles) I’ve only ever used a BB concealer and it was thick and hard to apply, and it creased big time. thanks 🙂
So is Wayne saying we should only use a corrector not a concealer? I only have that blu-ish darkness at the inner and outer corners of my eyes, not underneath.
Wayne i am confused please do clarify this
Bobbi Brown has skin serum Corrector and skin Serum concealer. they are two different products that they brought out recently with similar packages.
your title said Concealer yet in the video you keep switching between corrector and concealer so will please reply back and confirm which one you mean here. sorry if it sounds stupid or silly i just need to know.
But if you are a woman in your 50s-60s is it going to set in your wrinkles.
Thank you. I bought the corrector and concealer
and it works well for me
Wayne I was looking for you to review Bobbi’s serum foundation- because I believe you. Good to know concealer is good. I have mature skin and have been searching for my “holy grails”. I dont want to waste any more money. Your brush set-the starter set- I will be purchasing. Want to tell you-and I watch hundreds of makeup videos-you and your brushes are mentioned, very highly loved and recomended in all different groups. No surprise to me. Your videos are the ones I started with and remain my favorite. I will look through your page to see if youve reviewed BB serum found. If not could you? Thanks :).
Beautiful!!! Love the Bisque color!!
Both
Wayne, you’re a rock star. You’ve totally changed the way I use and buy makeup. I don’t think a day goes by that I don’t watch at least one of your tutorials. So you can imagine how upset I was when I went to Macy’s here on Cape Cod to purchase this concealer and the “certified” Bobbi Brown makeup girl was so incredibly rude to me that I just had to walk away. I had already hit up the Clinique counter for the fabulous (love love love) CC cream and all the girls were so friendly and helpful, chatty and warm. I noticed the Bobbi Brown girl was alone…none of the other makeup reps were chatting with her. When I told her what I was looking for she first began arguing with me about my choice of color. I went to esthetician school and I know my skin is deceiving, it looks like it would be one shade but it’s not. I’m 55 and I know what I’m talking about. She asked why I insisted on that particular color. I told her I saw it in a Wayne Goss video on YouTube. She put her hands on her hips and said, “I’m a certified Bobbi Brown representative. Certified by Bobbi. So who are you going to listen to, some guy on YouTube?! This guy isn’t certified by Bobbi, and I am.” I said, “You don’t understand, he’s not just ‘some guy’ –” and she interrupted me and said, “Stop watching YouTube and pay attention to an expert.” It was horrid. I’ve never argued with a makeup tech before or had a sales person with such an inflated ego. I left the store very shaken up and, needless to say, without the concealer.
the same you said about nars radiant creamy concealer, so .. yeah
I love this product too. But is it a corrector as well? I have tan deep skin tone bought the deep peach. I feel like I need to still use a corrector for dark circles…
Wayne..,I have trouble with concealers and creapiness…do these concealers accentuate creapiness?
bisque for sure 🙂
I really want a concealer only makeup look/tutorial. I really dislike the hassle of all over foundation for everyday, so I would just want to spot conceal. But most concealers don’t seem to blend well, idk if this just comes with the territory of not applying makeup all over or there’s a way that it can be blended.
Any advice appreciated!
bisque…..they call me Caspar or light brite I’m so pale!
Hi Wayne, I did try it but it didn’t work for me, got into my wrinkles.. Maybe I didn’t something wrong but I tried it with a primer. But what did work is YSL touché éclat number 1. I love it. Give it a try.

Is this a corrector or concealer? He said both in the video.
The bisque shade looked best on you 🙂 still bright, but much more natural and flattering.
Truly the best correctors and concealer I ever used but the price proves it is top of the line product. Helps me avoid that cakey look.
Bisque
Would you use the Bobbi Brown liquid corrector and then the Bobbi Brown liquid concealer on top of it?
Definitely the bisque – gorgeous.
are Bobbi Brown foundations and concealers any good for dry skin, I wonder? Was thinking Estee L Doublewear for my next one but had forgotten about BB.
I’m Pakistani medium skin tone around Nc 40-42 what shade should I use Peach dark peach or bisque
