What i will say now u might think im crazy but if u have oily skin and acne the best thing u can use is olive oil!
Ur face overproduces oil beacuse the oil in ur face is missing!
By adding olive oil in ur face will reduce the ammount of oil ur face produces and as a result ur acne will dissapear

Carley says:

I can’t believe the first thing she mentions is to avoid oils for acne prone skin. I’m sorry but for a professional she seems to forget what our skin wants. Our body is making up for what we aren’t getting. Oils are some of the best things we can incorporate in our daily routines. Using oils doesn’t always mean you will have amazing results or won’t have a bad reaction, but to claim to avoid them all is so stupid. And there is no such thing as noncomedogenic. We aren’t able to measure what causes acne or not, except for what is going into our bodies and coming out. If we knew exactly what caused acne adults and older teens wouldn’t continue to suffer with it. Everyone would know the solution, oils aren’t bad for you! Trust your skin and use what you know works for your skin!

Katie Langston says:

She definitely got paid to say all of this. She knows full well that all of those products she talked about are useless, and anybody who has suffered from acne knows it too from having used literally anything and everything from the general drugstore brands.

Personally, I find the Avene skincare products to be excellent for my skin. The brand is targeted towards sensitive skin types but the ‘Cleanance’ range is targeted towards those suffering from any form of acne. I use the Cleanance soapless cleanser and Cleanance Expert moisturiser along with the Thermale water spray.

Miss Anthrope says:

Queen Helene mint julep mask is great for oily acne prone skin. It contains sulfur and it really sucks the oil out. Best of all its under $5 USD. I have used it for years. Also instead of buying the fancy scrubs you can mix baking soda into your face wash to help exfoliate, although I just use it plain after washing my face while it’s still wet. I used to have cystic acne but now my face stays clear, other than the occasional hormonal breakout but it’s just a normal pimple instead of the cystic kind that leaves scars.

Christofanis Papadopoulos says:

My tips
1). guys even if you use a cleanser that contains salicylic acid, it’s not gonna help much because there’s very little amount of it in the cleanser and you’re gonna wash it off anyway. Instead of using stimulating cleanser like this, use something that does not contain sodium lauryl/laureth/laurel sulfate as they are used in detergents which can seriously mess up with your skin and give you facial redness! I recommend simple’s refreshing gel wash for oily combination skin and for dry to normal skin, I recommend simple’s moisturising facial wash.

2).and basically, if you have acne prone skin with closed comedones and open comedones, you need a decent toner that’s gonna do its job. before I recommend any product l, I want to say toners aren’t like acne treatments that eliminates acne but a last important step of cleansing that removes oil and remains of the cleanser you used. However, it’s really important to buy a toner that is alcohol free, paraben free and maybe comedogenic ingredients free. you should look for a toner that contains soothing ingredients such as witch hazel, chamomile (maybe) and vitamins(also anti oxidents”/) I recommend ‘Thayers alcohol free toner” and ‘simple refreshing toner’ that are simply alcohol and bad ingredients free!

3). THIS IS WHAT I THINK TO BE MOST IMPORTANT SKINCARE STEP IN ACNE PRONE SKIN! TA-DA! IT’S TO MOISTURISEEEEEE! !!! many people think that all type of moisturisers are going to clog there pores but that’s not true… there are some non comedogenic ones that do not easily block your pores. moisturisers are super important because they create a barrier on your skin to stop the pollutants or bad things invading. moreover, I recommend a moisturiser that contains both sodium hyaluronate( one form of hyaluronic acid) and some oils (but not mineral oil! or hydrogenated vegetable oil because they are awful and comedogenic! they gave me those blackheads, eww) such as jojoba oil or hemp oil (as Liah Yoo said). I use ‘Lush vanishing cream’ however it can cause irritation in some people as it contains lavender! however if you are allergic to lavender, I simply recommend “2sol’s propolis soothing solution” and dermatologist recommended cetaphil! but look out! cetaphil contains mineral oil~☆

these are my tips! I got rid of 90% of my ‘used to be’ moderate to severe acne using these products and tips! It’s nothing like advertisement so don’t worry! I suffered from acne and I simply want to help people who are going through this… but you are not alone. don’t feel scared or anything to ask me anything!

quoellen hernandez says:

Glad that she did not say Cetaphil. Cause that product is worst thing you can buy

Raina Lynne Andres says:

The neutrogena pore refining one irritated my skin. It was really bad

nabila natasha says:

Best solution is use rice water as toner. Anti aging +++++++ reduce ur acne. Also its natural and traditional Asian

Hailey Nicole says:

right now im using cetaphil and it has a minor effect on my face, but really isn’t making a difference. thinking about changing to biore charcoal line or cetaphil (I’ve heard mixed opinions about cetaphil) but idk which to do. I really want my acne and scarring gone

M Glan says:

This is definitely a paid advertisement. Don’t get sucked into buying these products! Plus they are way too harsh for the skin.
