Samantha Jane says:

What would you like to see next in my “best for oily skin” recommendations?!

Sarah B says:

I would like to see the best concealer for oily skin.

Janisa Quezada says:

Have you tried any of the Clinique oily skin products? I love the dramatically different gel. It’s really light but it is really moisturizing.

Nastya Konak says:

tried hydra genius and could not bear the smell.

Kristýna Davídková says:

Hi sam, love this video idea. Please dont do your concealer so light. It looks unblended and harsch 🙁

Sars says:

Would highly suggest Neutrogena Hydro Boost gel creme. Its light and makes your skin feel so sofffft.

Dion Prospere says:

I have seen the L’Oreal Hydra Genius Oily Skin in Saint Lucia but its like $56 in my currency and I wanted to pick it up since I have oily skin but was not to sure.

Kristen Cuzzo says:

i really like the aveeno daily (the one with salicylic acid). it’s a nice moisturizer to put under makeup and the S. acid works well for my skin. i have yet to dabble into nighttime moisturizers. i was always one of those people that thought oily skin gals should stay far away from moisturizer, but i’ve come around! lol

Brightfox's Den says:

I really like L’Oreal’s Hydra Genius. Not only does my skin feel moisurized, the product itself is light and doesn’t mix with my skin oils to create what I call “sludge”. When I was young, oil-free moisturizers were a new concept, but they made my very oily skin feel oilier because of the other ingredients in the lotion. This happened even when I was on Accutane for my acne! I wish we had products like this back then…

Gabriella says:

Are you ever going to do the comparison of the old formula and the new formula of the Revlon color stay? ( not meaning to sound mean or rude if it comes out that way)

Lisa R says:

I absolutely love the oil-free antioxidant moisturizer from Trader Joe’s! Never made me break out and super cheap 🙂

Monique Forrester says:

Eyeliner for oily skin would be super helpful. My lower lash line is naked 95% of the time because every liner or shadow I try to pop in there breaks down and tranfers too quickly.

Wanda Larson says:

I have dry skin but lots of the products you mentioned have some good ingredients. I wouldn’t use the matte but the moisturizing is good. I use so many different products, sometimes aloe Vera gel, Coconut Oil, Cetaphil, some product I bought off of Amazon called Derma Nu I’m not sure about yet cause I don’t like the smell lol. Have a fab day 🙂

Sarah Rizzo says:

I had no idea Embyolisse had a lighter formula moisturizer! I like the lait creme concentrate but can only wear it at night since it’s so heavy; will definitely need to get my hands on that! My greasy skin gets on really well with Tatcha’s water cream, and Sunda Riley’s CEO moisturizer (which comes in a travel size so you don’t have to break the bank). I also really like Pixi’s rose oil. It’s super light and absorbs quickly which means I can wear it during the day under makeup

christine0701 says:

I use the Loreal Hydra Genius — just lucked across it at Shoppers once when I was there for handsoap, and I love it! By far the best oil-skin moisturizer I’ve used yet

Bonnie Smith says:

i going to try the loreal hydra genius thanks for sharing xo

RoseDragon17 says:

“I think about everything im mentioning is available at Shoppers”

Me: Yes!!! Gimme those optimum points!

Isha Khud says:

I used to love Bioderma but once I started having allergic reactions after using different products, I can’t use bioderma anymore. makes me break out like crazy.

what I found out is, that there is not ONE perfect moisturizer. it depends on the foundation you use. i have been using paulas choice redness relief spf 30 moisturizer for oily skin for 3 or 4 years now. it workes so well with the L’ORÉAL perfect match Powder Foundation. After I turned 30 this moisturizer was not moisturising enough so I looked for anyother moisturizer. i found a perfect one in the “beyer&söhne light moisturizer”. after struggling with pimples and dry skin for the past 6 month my skin started looking really good. alas i cannot use it with the powder foundation. i starts comin off in now time and leaves my face with no make up at all by noon. so i bought the clinique superbalanced foundation and it’s a great combination. so many people complain about it that it has no staying power. i have not experienced the same thing. i tried the superbalanced with the paulad choice moisturizer and the result was horrible. it starts melting off, giving me cracks around my mouth and shiny skin within a few hours. so I think it depends on what foundation you are using :).

Josephine C. R. says:

I use First Aid Beauty: Hello Fab Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer
(this two-in-one moisturiser and makeup-gripping primer)…i only used this under my makeup or alone

Tracie Stroud says:

I just got the new Origins Original Skin Matte Moisturizer and I’m reeeally loving it.

she2hadthedramathick says:

Hey Sam and oily skin girls! Since I’m acne-prone and scar easily, my doctor prescribed tretinoin 0.5% for me. It’s so drying and a chemical exfoliate so I use it like 2 or 3 times a week and follow up with 100% African Shea Butter as a moisturizer. I mix the Shea butter with rose hip oil or vitamin e oil to make it easier to spread onto my skin. My skin is pretty much normal now! I don’t get oily with makeup and find that I have to moisturize with vitamin e oil before makeup some days. Either way I’d recommend you get the real deal Shea butter cuz it’s life!!!

Kristy Kelly says:

I’ve tried so many, went the “more hydration” angle, but found that Simple Oil Balancing Moisturizer was by far the best for my oil – so it’s lighter than their regular one and it’s super cheap, plus it has zinc and stuff for breakouts. It’s with a blue lid. I can’t even afford L’Oreal or Neutrogena half the time so this one is great for broke girls like me, especially for day wear. At night you might want to go for a HA serum or light facial oil (if you dare!) if you think you need more hydration overnight. Newfoundland eh? Like George Crabtree! Murdoch Mysteries is one of the only Canadian shows I watch and I LOVE George. I can put up with characters dying in TWD or GoT fine… but when I thought George was dead at the start of this season I was literally beside myself XD

Justin DL says:

I have combination skin (normal to oily) and I just picked up the Tachta Water Cream and i have been LOVING it. I didn’t want to love because it is $68 USD but i got mine from QVC (thank you payments). Some other favorites: IT Cosmetic Confidence in a Cream and CLINIQUE
Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel,

Skating Canuck says:

The L’oreal lotion goes on sale all the time. I liked the texture but the perfume is extremely strong (like all L’oreal skincare) so I had to pass.

Lola P. says:

If anyone is looking for another affordable option for oily, acne prone skin, the Neutrogena Hydro Boost water gel moisturizer and gel cream version are great. Water gel is a more lightweight gel for oily skin, the gel cream version is great for dry skin.
