My Favorite Eye Moisturizers | 2018

My recent favourite Eye Moisturizers! Indulge me as I have my moment with Eye Oils, a category I’ve been obsessed with, and really wanted to review my favorites. There are some less expensive ones available but are based in coconut oil which I’d rather avoid around my eye area as it tends to be too heavy and encourages milia formation for me.

I am only talking about my favourite eye moisturizers, not masks or more specialized serums. I wanted to focus on what I use in my routines on a daily basis.

I also chat a little about why I prefer targeted skincare treatments for eyes, what I realistically expect from an eye moisturizer and the different products I use for the ever-changing needs of the delicate, temperamental skin around those windows to my soul.

So many options I don’t know which one to choose from 🙂

Neema Mahant says:

Hi Renee I want to ask what should be the sequence of using these wonderful products? Can oil, serum and cream be used all together or no? If any of these products could be combined what will be the sequence? TIA

Vo Tuyet Trinh says:

Hello Rene, thanks for your information shares. Can I combine to use serum and cream from two different brands?

onbekend onbekend says:

Hi Renee!

I am so glad that you share with eye oil :)!

I tried the kora organic eye oil but i get little red pimpels, it was very weird but i get from every eye oil or every eye cream milia or pimpels. Maybe my eyes need to get used to

I am 25 with very sensitive eyes. I tried Sk-ii eye cream, I peaker eye cream but nothing works. Do you know witch eye cream and eye oil are the best for sensitive eyes? Do you think that kora organic eye oil is good/gentle for sensitive eyes? (Is it gentle enought for the eyes?)

I hope you can help me

Melissa Alford says:

Will the eye oils cause milia?

Tania Arangoitia Marina says:

Hi Renee, have you tried the Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado from Kiehl’s? I’d like to hear your thoughts on it.. Thanks for sharing you wisdom with us!!

Genevieve Jordan says:

Could you please do a body skincare video? I’ve recently noticed major aging in my hands, neck and chest area!

Inalvys Canahan says:

Hi! What do you think about the Kleem brand? I have seen it in Amazon with good reviews

Rachel Chua says:

Hi Renee, thank you so much for this video ❣️
Do you use a different sunscreen for your eye area from the rest of your face?

Smita Ghosh says:

has anyone tried the Manyo Factory Bifidalacto Eye Cream? Or even their Bifidalacto complex serum?

Test Prh says:

Hi, found this video.I am 31 years old and can you please let me know which is the best eye cream to prevent wrinkles and dark circles?

Wolfgirl7500 Shggg says:

So many recommendations i don’t know what to pick, i want to try all of them haha

Jillian Joy says:

I absolutely love the fact you are who you are and you actually owned up to rubbing your eyes. Listen, I don’t know when youtube became this stuffy picture perfect misrepresentation of how we all need to behave. And should someone mention anything less then and actually admit to being human and rubbing eyes during allergy season and have the youtube world jump all over them for giving out horrible advice, recommendations and practices. I’m sitting here happy you are a real person and don’t feel the need to feed into that fake environment and continue to keep it real. Afterall, practical info and your actual opinions and habits are what I’m really interested in. Not some picture perfect idea. Thank you 🙂 great video.

A says:

So what’s do u think the best for moisturizing gel, eye cream or serum?

Geraldine Thompson says:

Hi! I love your videos! They are so informative. I do have a question or two specific to me. I’m in my late forties and have eye hollows that are somewhat dark. I also have sagging eyelids. What eye moisturizers would you recommend? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Neema Mahant says:

Hi Renee can u please reply to my question

Mille says:

Thank you so much for such a wonderful and informative video! I truly trust your reviews. Every time I’m thinkin about needing to switch out a product (like at the moment, my eye cream isn’t cutting it for the coming winter!) I check out what you have to say about the topic. I never need to do any guesswork or ”where do I start to look?” which is just such a relief. Will definitely give the pestle & mortar one a go!

ilham batool says:

When ever i need some skin care advice i come to your videos you have helped with serums and cleanser everything upto complete details of the products

laluvpin says:

Hi..Rene. always enjoy your information, very useful. Do you use sunscreen for eyes?

diale991 says:

Renee, please make a best of Alba Botanica Hawaiian

ersheri says:

As always you are always so helpful. Thanks!

Michelle Meshel says:

Thank you for another great video Renée. I actually purchased the Huxley oil in essence awhile ago, on your recommendation, but I find the fragrance a little overpowering for my entire face, so I actually use it like an eye oil/treatment & it’s perfect! No strong smell, no stinging, no migration & light enough to apply before under eye concealer too. I had dry chicken skin under my eyes before discovering this, but not anymore!

R Sharp says:

I have alligator type dry scales on my inner under eye. I have hereditary dark line ( not big circles). Because it is so dry there every concealer I’ve tried looks worse. Which product would be most helpful. I have been using the DE for a month and have not seen a difference.

Renee Edmundson says:

Hello, thank you much for sharing your tutorial. If I had choose just one for dark circles under the eye and small lines which one would you recommend the most? Thank you

Y v says:

omg, your face looks so plump, glowy and youthful.

Veronica Garcia says:

Thank You! Truly needed this

aftermyhat says:

Hey Renee! Your videos have made such a difference in my life – I absolutely love your approach to finding products and evaluating them regardless of price points. Do you think you’ll ever do a video on skincare/makeup for those who have malassezia or fungal acne? I’ve been trying rebuild my makeup routine specifically after discovering that I was dealing with fungal acne, and while Simple Skincare Science blog has helped a lot, I’d love to see your take on FA safe makeup and skincare.

Nivedita Ashri says:

Love your videos <3 I have a question though, when should the facial oil be used, after moisturizer/sleep mask or before.

piupiu says:

Renee! I love our videos and now I see that you have included little notes that mention animal testing and vegan products, that is so considerate!

Manha C says:

Being 35 my main concern is wrinkles are these all beneficial

Skating Canuck says:

Renee I really appreciated your detailed descriptions of the function and recommendations of eye creams/gels / oils. I only wish you had included some affordable recommendations (as rare as that may be in this category).

somi-somi says:

That kora eye oil is so expensive can i use argan oil as alternative?

Corrina says:

What do you think about Organys rejuvenating eye formula? Amazon has that as its best seller and it’s almost 5 starts but I’m sketchy about it since only amazon sells it

airyvibes says:

eye moisturizers are the same as eye creams?

April Martinez says:

I was wondering if it’s okay to use castor oil or coconut oil for the under eyes?

C. Bruce says:

I want to buy the Alba Botanical eye gel, and can’t find it in stock *anywhere*, I wonder if thousands of Renee’s followers went out and snapped it up after this video! lol

sondre landvik says:

Honey spill the beans what’s happened to your skin lately you are glowing more than ever and your skin is so so plump??? Is this the derma roller you’ve been testing?
