Alicia Marie says:

What happens if you use the UV light with these

Sam S says:

Are they Tulane and formaldehyde and DBP free?

Love Child says:

Love your nails always Tati and I am inspired now to use my big bag of nail polish that I have been buying for awhile now. . Yas girl doing them today!

Allison Crider says:

I have to interject here…I am a licensed nail technician of 20 years. I understand the frustrations people have with gel manicures…I really do. But what people need to understand is, if you go to a “nail salon” aka economy (Vietnamese nail salon) they will destroy your nails! You have to find a salon that is reputable and actually cares about the health of your nails. You can not go the “cheap” route and think that you’re going to get a quality service. Secondly, there is only one gel polish that does not damage your nails when coming off…it’s CND Shellac. OPI, Gelish, Essie (the actual gel, not the at home system) all do damage. CND Shellac is the ONLY one that doesn’t damage. And it uses a LED light, not a UV light like the other brands. Also, no one should ever file on top of your natural nail before application of the gel or to remove it…if they are, they are doing it improperly and will damage your nails! I can not say this enough…STOP GOING TO THE ECONOMY SALONS! That is why your nails are being damaged. Anyway, I love you Tati and your videos. I just get really upset when I here things like this because it’s damaging to my trade…and it’s not because these services are truly harmful but because the economy salons have become the standard and they are tearing people’s hands up! It’s frustrating as a nail tech that has spent years and thousands of dollars being trained and educated properly!

Kristin Setzer says:

nail techs should NEVER peal acrylic off!!

Shaynn's world says:

Holy crap, what nail salons ate you going to, because it takes me about a half hour to 45 minutes all together to get in there, get my nails done and get out, and that’s of there’s a wait. If I happen to get lucky and go when no one is in there, I’m in and out in less than a half an hour. The guy I go to is good, quick and knows all the short cuts and tricks of the trade.

Erika Ramirez says:

I tried this nail polish because of you and it is the best thank you so much!!

Van Pham says:

You look fabulous here! I love your dark hair and makeup here. :))) I wanna duplicate this look on myself one day.

mvlena lsa says:

I bought this nail polish cuz of u. I luv it (catch me ouSSIDE)

Leah Crowe says:

Tati, can you use the “Matte About You” with all of the colors?

ME-Tube Your Space! says:

blueperfection23 says:

This video makes me want to try them so bad, I have other kits but I looove essie nail polish

Rhiannon MG says:

I have lupus, so the exposure to the uva is so bad for me!! Thank you so much tati.

Emily Theimer says:

I finally got a chance to try this polish! I’ve been wanting to try this for MONTHS since you recommended this and I’m so glad I got to!!! Thanks for sharing, Tati!

Blackangel5381 says:

is this comparable to Chanel Le Gel top coat? i’ve been advised by my ob to stop using Seche vite topcoat for safety purposes on my pregnancy. so I’m looking for an alternative, I’m using the chanel one but its sooOOOO expensive… if it has the same quality why not…i get to save money…

Haley Chacon says:

acrylic nails should always be soaked off. It should never hurt, that’s why you had damage.

Violet Rene' says:

I just bought “flowerista” and it is adorable! Wishing I would have picked up the top coat too…running back to Sally’s! LOL!

dorothea n Vaporis says:

can u just use the top coat with any polish??

Caitlin O'Connell says:

I tried this and it just doesn’t work for me 🙁 It starts peeling off in 1 day and is so thin it doesn’t add any strength to my nails. Would not recommend this product at all.

Taylor Alexandria says:

Tati, do you use nail oil? It should help your nails get stronge

Tawana Terrell says:

You look like Victoria Beckham … I think she is the cutest! Thanks for sharing 🙂

Kim T says:

I love this polish also. I quit doing uvlight gel. This is the only polish I’ve had last 2 weeks. I even did light yard work with gloves on, but still, I’ve had other polishes not like that. And yes, you have to use their top coat. I’m wondering how their new gel platinum top coat polish is. Anyone try it yet & have a review?

Lisa Bartlett says:

Can you do a Hot or Not review on Revlon Color Stay Gel Nail Color, I enjoy your information videos

Jen Ward says:

Where can I get the necklace Tati is wearing?

Alex Linder says:

Yeah from what you said, those nail techs didn’t seem to know how to remove the acrylics properly cause getting the nails, and removing them, should NEVER hurt or damage your nails.

AliceB says:

Anyone else have a horrible time applying these? I got Pre-Show Jitters and the top coat. I tried thin coats, thick coats, waiting 60 seconds in between… In the end I had to removed the first round completely because it looked so bad! And I’m used to working with the hardest Essie color ever (*Fiji*). Still it ended up taking half an hour to dry + it was bumpy!? Super disappointing so far… Or am I just being dumb with my application? Any tips?

Ash Allison says:

Gf whoever was doing your manicures is insane. I am an esthetician and let me tell you. A) gel polish should last you 2-3 weeks some of my girls get many many more b) a service should never take longer than an hour c) gel polish should never be a painful service or manicures in general , if they are that means you’re not being properly cared for
That is a result of improper tools like nail drills used on bare nail which is ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY and takes too many layers of the nail down to make them thin
They only need to be hand buffed by a small grit buffer nothing intense

You need a better salon lol but glad you found something to do at home

Also the way they removed your acrylics is 100% not professional lol.
Some salons really tick me off

Love your vids

CandyMamaRy says:

That necklace is gorgeous! Where is it from??!

B. C. Schmerker says:

+GlamLifeGuru *As it turns out, essie® gel couture™ is not the only two-step player* in the hybrid lacquer market – Coty USA, Inc., has a direct competitor in Sally Hansen® Miracle Gel™, which has its own dedicated “glossy taco” (to borrow a term coined by +SimplyNailogical).

Rainbow Radar says:

No offense but Her intro’s so long

Ginni Terhune says:

How long before they started chipping? I’ve found most of the 14 days actually last about half that. Thx!

gobeagirl says:

Ok, now we are getting into my groove. lol… I have been doing my own nails since I was about 14 and I can tell you I have never had anyone do my nails for me. Not even on my Wedding day 24 years ago. I know, I’m a freak. lol… Anyway, I love nail polish and I am always on the look out for a good polish that lasts and doesn’t chip. I have to be honest and say that Essie has always been one of those brands that I have tried and really really wanted to like, but no matter what I have done could not get it to last out a week for me. With that being said I am going to be going to the drug store first thing on payday and pick this new Essie up, I feel that because of how great your nails look and I have heard you talk about this in more recent videos that it is worth my money and time to give this formula a chance, Yes, I admit because I don’t like their original formula I didn’t even consider giving this one a try,. I am now though. :O) Wish me luck. I really want it to work as good as it looks and I love me a good manicure. hugs LIsaG

Susan Grijalva says:

finally bought them. the best and worth the price.

onkar dhillon says:

I literally don’t even watch any other videos anymore, especially when it comes to product reviews it’s 100% Tati or nah. ❤

Beauty By Kaitlin says:

There’s nothing wrong with you!! I’m addicted to those dark colors too!!! Lol I’m wearing one right now

Liye Lan says:

I know it’s been a long time since you posted this video, but I have to say that they did take off acrylic nails in the wrong way. The right way is to soak your nails in acetone for like 10-15 minutes than buff it off. But soaking your fingers in the acetone for that much of time will make your fingers extremely try. So, not a good idea to get acrylic nails.

Cheryl Lynn says:

OMG!! Just bought these last week for the first time. Wow!! They are fantastic!! Thank you for all the great recommendations!! I used to buy a ton of stuff from stores and hate half of it because I’m very picky. Love getting all these great shopping tips from someone with the best taste!!

M. C. Lambert says:

Thank you, I totally agree with you the time and inconvenience for having your nails done. When you can take your time and doing it yourself.

Veronica Rose says:

Tati, I think you might be my way more put together spirit animal! Yay for pumpkin spice and seasonal colors!

melrick357 says:

I appreciate her input but wow does she talk ALOT!!!!!!

Anya says:

#4: Wait eagerly for the next day/next video. (Can I just fast forward to 9 am tomorrow please? thanks

This product is thick and streaky.
