Fantastic short review! I’be been wanting to try it since forever but I’m a bit afraid the silicone in it will break me out! Do you think is safe for acne prone skin?

becka j says:

This would probably only be SPF 15 in Australian due to our strict laws. Still sad face can’t get here. Great review thanks.

Hi Beck, I’m more into physical sunscreens than chemical ones and after much research I have found only two that tick off most (although none I have found to tick off ALL) boxes off my checklist. It must contain zinc oxide and has more than 15-20% zinc oxide. Or it has 15% zinc oxide + 7.5% titanium dioxide or encapsulated octinoxate. it contains no polyunsaturated oils. No nanoparticles, silicones and must not give a white finish on face . Two that I found through recommendations are : Cyberderm and juice beauty. Cyberderm is a Canadian company. They have one with silicones and one without. I highly recommend them. :-))

Hi Beck can u review supergoop unseen sunscreen ? Thank u

Fearless Girl says:

After experimenting with numerous sunscreens over the years, I learned through trial and error, that sunscreens with high mineral content offered the most protection. My #1 holy grail sunscreen is Colorescience, it’s SPF 50 with Titanium Dioxide 23.9%, Zinc Oxide 24.1%. It is the only sunscreen I’ve used that protects my skin so amazingly well. Plus, it’s so easy to reapply as it’s a brush on sunscreen and doesn’t interfere with makeup.

What sunscreen would recommend for the beach or gardening?

becka j says:

Well my double wear doesn’t seem to play well with any of my mineral sunscreens to be honest. I do get that dot look too …sigh lol first world problems…

B says:

Please do some all mineral sunscreens with UVA and UVB for the beach bathing too. We are coming to summer where i am at! Thanks

Deb Shand says:

I learned so much! I didn’t realise the spf only refers to UVB. Thanks so much for educating me! Also, another product with the word “Australia” in it that isn’t available here. So annoying!!!
