Fave Asian & Euro Sunscreens | Safe Chemical UV Filters

Summer Sunscreen Roundup! My last sunscreen video of the series is ofcourse my favourite chemical formulas! I am focused mainly on Asian and European items which has always been my preference. I explain why and the chemical filters I look for! I’ve also thrown in some reviews of the sunscreens I get asked about all the time! All the sunscreens I previously reviewed in the past I still love in case you were wondering!

Nizar Al Sibai says:

Hi Renee! I was wondering if you could do a round up of your fav mineral based sunscreens. I don’t want to wear any that are carbon basedfor sun protection because there’s a lot of increasing evidence of the detrimental effects of carbon based sunscreens on the environment.

VvShannonvV V says:

If you use a foundation or B.B./CC cream that has SPF, should you still use a base sunscreen?

Dewi Suciani says:

Any good sunscreen recommendation for oily skin?

Lauren Palumbo says:

Your skin is on another level. After I saw your review of The Ordinary products singing their praises I ordered several myself and never looked back. Dealing with hyperpigmentation, I have a huge love/hate relationship with sunscreen. I can never seem to get past the greasy texture, white cast and smell. I’m trying to hold myself back from ordering half of your recommendations from this list!

Tiffany Josephine says:

This is unrelated to the video but these days my skin has been budging me. I use to have one of two pimples on my face but these few months my face keeps breaking out here and there and tons of whiteheads live on my face. For reference, I have an oily but dehydrated skin type. Please help me out yall. Thankss.

Awesomeness says:

Is there any black person who tried any of the products she mentioned?
I am black (milk chocolate color) tried the tacha one but it has a purple cast on me!:(
Now I’m worried that the rest of these suncreens might also have some sort of a white cast on me! I have already wasted so much money on suncreens that leave a white cast. I need help with recommendations

SleeplessinOC says:

Oh dang there are so many yo choose from I don’t know which one is best for me!! Can someone make a recommendation ? Or Renee herself ! I am 42 , have melasma and other hyperpigmentation , very dry sensitive flaky skin, itchy sometimes around my nose areas. Obviously I want to prevent aging as well. Please help !

Aurska Cavill says:

I thought tatcha was à japanese brand.

Molly Nifong says:

A lot of sunscreens ball up on my skin.. and I also have sensitive acne prone skin- neither dry nor oil though.
Do you have any suggestions??

filosofie90 says:

Hi, thank you for your videos, I really enjoy watching all of them! Have you tried the new 2017 formula of the Rohto skin aqua super moisture milk? The one in the gold bottle. It’s spf 50, PA++++, fragrance and alcohol free, and I’m wondering if it is as good as it sounds and suitable for dry skin 🙂

Mary Jackson says:

Help! Which of these products would be suitable for MAC NW43 or 45 skin. The struggle is REAL!!!
Thank you

SnowBell300 says:

I would like to use sun screens, but most sun screens, some of them are also in your list, contain ingredients that have Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, which has hormonal effects, other ingredients that contain microbeads or nanoparticles that can cause cancer… I am really not sure if I wanna smear this into my face.

poiein/piyi 佩然 says:

Hello Renee! Been been watching your videos..very informative! I have dry skin and can be dehydrated sometimes. Is there a really hydrating sunscreen with SPF 50 out there?

Nicholas Zimmerman says:

Your sunscreen recommendations have been spot on for me.  I just purchased the MDSolarsciences body spray you recommended in your other video.  Wearing the Anessa one today for face.  Just loving it.  There are so many options and I’ve been disappointed with some Korean sunscreens that can be a little whitening or heavy feeling.  Thank you for making it easier to get great sun protection that looks and feels wonderful as well.

axreason says:

Where did you get a hold of the Anessa sunscreens? I can’t fint the mild version(s) anywhere.

Amanda Aguiluz says:

Can you please make a drugstore/commercial brands favorite video? (Moisturizers, toners, spf, eyecream etc) This can be very helpful for us who don´t have access to all these brands 🙁 Thankyouuuuuu.

Trystin Reid says:

I don’t know if you’ve already reviewed this product, but I’m really interested in the Jack Black Sunscreen! I know that this is a mens product, but I’m still really interested as to see how good it is:)

S SD says:

Great video! How does a moisturizer come into play when using these sunscreens? Do I still use one? If so, what do I apply first the sunscreen or the moisturizer? Thanks!

Alma Toledo says:

Renée, you have so many of us who need you. Amazing following so deserved.

Nomimalone L says:

Which one is your top favorite?

no says:

Thanks for this detailed video. I would love to learn about spray sunscreens (to top up over makeup during the day.) Are there any you have tried and would recommend?

M Grady says:

Thank you SO MUCH!!!!

Manha C says:
