Please do a whats in my bag video! Ik its not makeup related but i love those videos
can u do a favourite sunscreen video – especially ones u would recommend for humid/heat weave like weather? I’m struggling to find a sunscreen that doesn’t feel greasy/sticky immediately after application. thanks 🙂
I’ve been using the sunplay skin aqua UV whitening gel for awhile ! it has SPF50 because I live in Malaysia and the sun is BLAZING HOT. So far its been good for my oily skin ! no stickiness, only con is that it takes a few minutes to dry but thats fine !
Neutrogena ultra sheer SPF 50! It’s doesn’t leave a white residue and doesn’t have that horrendous sunscreen smell. It’s totally affordable as well! Absolutely love it
Do you reapply sunscreen over makeup during the day?
I would love to try it out because I detest everything creamy on my skin (how practical, huh?) and that one looks so good. The Cream Etude House Sunprise I tried seems like it’s breaking me out 🙁 Can’t waite for Glossier to ship to Germany!
I loved the glossier sunscreen but it was not enough of an SPF for me as I am paler than a ghost. I didn’t know about the orange peel thing others have left in the comments thanks for that info!!! I use the Farmacy Green Screen and it is the only sunscreen that does not break me out. It is grossly expensive and I wish I didn’t love it. Physical sunscreen recs with a higher SPF than 35 would be greatly appreciated from anyone in the comments!!!
Please make an Audrey Hepburn or Blair Waldorf makeup bag!!!
These glossier reviews are my life
My favorite sunscreen is the Biore Aqua Rich Essence, second favorite is Canmake Mermaid Skin UV. If this glossier one is your second fave, I think you really should more international sunscreens. Europe, Canada, Japan, and Korea have been making sunscreens way more advanced in protection and more cosmetically elegant than anything in the US, due to the US’s poor regulatory approval process and generally lax
demand for good sunscreen. Not sure about Aussie, but for sure the US falls far behind in this area.
I honestly love how quick and to-the-point your videos are. Also, woman, can I ask you, How do you do your nails¡? They look so polished yet sheer layer. I want to get a manicure as a treat but all these gel and shellac trends makes them too thick of a layer for my taste (am I making any sense? ) Anyway, thanks for another fabulous video
Watching this with my sunburned face
Hey Matilda! Do you happen to know what is the PPD for this sunscreen? Is it labeled on the bottle?
Hey Matilda! I have fair freckled skin and I have yet to find a sheer sunscreen that allows me to have the protection I need. Normally, I’ll wear a physical sunblock that has a white residue that makes my skin look lavender. And my skin is easily irratated. I’m very thankful for the recommendation.
My fave is Make P:rem’s sun gel.. it’s a Korean brand. I just realized they kinda have similar packaging haha
A Question that’s probably dumb to ask but I’m clueless anyways: should sunscreen be worn even when you stay indoors?
Okay, so I bought this sunscreen from Glossier about 2 months ago. What I love about it is that it’s clear, so unlike most sunscreens, it doesn’t leave a powdery white texture to my face. Also, it doesn’t make me break out! I’ve tried all types of sunscreens, even sunscreens specific to sensitive skin and acne pro skin, and they all make me break out! I’ve tried Neutrogena, Banna Boat, Aveno…..So I’m really happy that this sunscreen exists….but the price! It’s such a small bottle, I use one pump every other day, it’s been about 2 months, and it’s done. I would love to purchase it again, but with the price, not sure if it’s reasonable! Always love you Matilda, hope you enjoy my mini review lol
Hello. There is almost no difference btw SPF 30 and SPF 50 !
Sun screen is the only thing I don’t forget
I feel like Supergoop’s Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40 is what Glossier’s sunscreen tried to be. Anyway, the former is my go-to.
how do you get glossier in australia? they dont ship here?
Oooo, I like how sheer it is!
Hey! I just started hearing about Wander Beauty, have you heard of them yet or tried out any of their products?
I love the Supergoop sunscreen serum- on my 2nd bottle!
I also use sunscreen everyday. I use SPF 50 and I don’t use lower than that. Do you reapply sunscreen throughout the day even after you have makeup on your face?
I’m a huge fan of La Roche Posay Anthelios 50 Sunscreen Fluid, Ultra Light, SPF 50 Face, Tinted…Whew! That’s a mouthful! It doesn’t break me out and it evens out my skin tone. The Glossier one looks interesting. I’ll check it out!
Mecca to save face is hands down my favorite. Keen to give this one a try though
I use Philosophy Miracle in a Jar Moisturizer SPF 30. My skin is sensitive and I am 62 and it feels just a bit irritating by the end of the day (yes I top it off). Does anyone have any suggestions for a very moisturizing SPF 30 or above that is extremely gentle?
Clinique pep-start with 20 SPF is my favourite one. It has an old school sunscreen fragrance. Really light wear and perfect match even if you won’t use foundation. 🙂
Unfortunately, the Glossier sunscreen is too low of an SPF (personally), is not reef safe, too expensive for how much you get, and the orange peel situation. Thanks for a new glossier video tho! I recently went to their LA store and it was pretty neat, a little small, but very cool
My favourite is the La Roche Posay anthelios extra light. It is white but doesn’t leave a white cast. I would want to try the Glossier, but would love it to be spf50 instead of 35.
Been steadily watching all your videos over the past few days and love how short and sweet they are, perfectly chill and really easy to watch since they’re straight to the point 🙂 You make me want to buy a bunch of makeup though, and I’m probably going to end up buying that glossier primer at some point – always had my eye on going back for more stuff after purchasing and liking their boy brow, and now you’ve got me hooked xD
As for sunscreen, I always use Biore Super UV Milk – like the name states, it’s super thin and milky and spreads evenly without being greasy or pasty like a lot of other thicker sunblocks. Relatively scentless and has spf 48, so it’s pretty much the only sunscreen I’ve used for years!
How do you reapply your sunscreen every two hours if you are wearing makeup?
a lot of people complain about this sunscreen in their comment section. doesn’t have PA +++ with its price range & actually doesn’t work at all for some people :/
My favorite for the past few years has been an Australian brand, too! Hamilton Superblock is great.
I have oily skin in dehydrated, reactive and sensitive condition, prone to breakouts, rosacea, and seborrhea, so the only kind of sunscreen I can use is a mineral-based one. My favourite is Paula’s Choice Calm Redness Relief SPF 30 Mineral Moisturizer for Normal to Oily Skin.
