The YouTuber Cassandra Bankson goes really in depth about chemicals and ingredients in sunscreens. She has very problematic skin and allergies and is also in school to become an esthetician as well so she doesn’t play around when she’s educating. Love this video. I hate the chalky sunscreens and have hormonal adult acne. Ugh.

Toni R says:

OMG the animation of it all,

Adeola Oso says:

Edgessssss are S N A T C H E D Aunty Jackie!

Jai says:

Has anybody with dry skin tried any of these sunscreens or have any suggestions for dry skin? I think I may try to get samples of the ones Jackie mentioned the next time I’m in Sephora.

Susan Tso says:

What’s a good body sunscreen to use?

naturalhunnie87 says:

As a current esthetician student, thank you for this! Black people think black don’t crack but it will if you don’t take care of your skin and protect it!

NikkiRen says:

This is my 2nd time watching this video. I almost never wear sunscreen (bad I know) unless I’m going to the pool (rare.) Banana Boat would break my face OUT! Buuut I’m 37 now and my skin is looking great now. Only thing missing is that sunscreen. So I’m here to learn… again 🙂

LyonesseTech says:

please ladies with melanin. just use palmers suncare. smelss good and cost nothing 7.00 compare to these ridiculous pricing. I guarantee u 100% no ashyness. i even use it as bodylotion and facecream. thanks to beautybyjj i came to this wonder product.

Cloud Nai says:

Does the sunscreen go on after moisturizer or as a substitute for moisturizer?

Collyn Ballentine says:

Yo I did a 4 page research paper on physical vs chemical sunscreen and worked on it for 1 month and everything she said was accurate

Katrine Jensen says:

The reason that some of the sunscreens ball up under primer and foundation, is because of the Zink Oxide.

Mosh says:

all Japanese sunscreens do the purple tint D: as much as I love the feel of it.

Breanna Hardan says:

Garnier moisture bomb makes a sunscreen! I don’t know if it’s a chemical one or not Jackie but you should try it

Trisha Meloling says:

I can’t find a good one I can wear daily
The problem I have is I hate sunscreens that make my face feel heavy like foundations make you feel btw I don’t wear foundation

Bintarabyia says:

“She’s a Veteran, Army strong, but she’s also not trying to break a nail” had me laughing so hard! Jackie, you are seriously the best, I love your videos!!

Katherine Huynh says:

I’ve been using the ELTA MD sunscreen, which is both a physical and chemical SPF and its been so great. The tinted one is definitely POC friendly, and does not leave any greasy film or white cast whatsoever!!

Vanessa Gross says:

Beetlejuice! LMBO!

L B says:

@Jackie Aina. Thank you for doing this video. I’ve been looking for sunscreen that doesn’t leave white film and that isn’t oily. Have you tried the Palmers Eventone Sunscreen?
