bflyrenee says:

Thank you for this I have been so curious!

CityLove83 says:

I got a small one with my Sephora points, thanks for the review!

Ciera Golliver says:

Great review! How would you compare this to the Josie Maran SPF moisturizer

Believe Beauty says:

I love that is it is a mineral sunscreen! My skin inflames when I put titanium dioxide on it. Great review:)

Michelle Daffin says:

To be honest, it’s better to have your sunscreen sit on top of the skin rather than seep into the pores because the nanoparticles (carcinogens) in the sunscreen is actually really bad for you. I recommend using an organic sunscreen( at least for your baby) because it will be free of toxins and with bigger particles sitting on top of the skin rather than in the dermis. Yes, it will be harder to rub in and will give you more of that white, ghostly effect but it’s worth it to not increase your likelihood of skin cancer.

Whitney Whitley says:

Dat packaging doe.

MakeItUpWithSamantha says:

I felt the exact same way about this! I returned mine :/

AngelHoney says:

I’m oily but this still works great!

Natalia Trofimov says:

Will you have/ Do you have a review on the coola finishing spray?

Shannon Lei says:

What lashes are you wearing Emily? It’s not listed in the box :) x

Sara White says:

Agree that this is kind of an odd product – the rubberized package looks like it would be for the beach/pool/sweat, but I don’t think it’s water-resistant. So, yeah, why would you pay that much for just a daily sunscreen? I will stick with my Paula’s Choice Resist moisturizer with SPF 25! And then something water-resistant if I’m outside getting sweaty.

Laura Neuzeth says:

You know you’re addicted to Colour Pop when you can immediately recognize Nillionaire on the lid without having to check the description box. Lol As for the sunscreen, I love Tarte but I always go for something that’s at least Spf 50.

Gigi Griffon says:

Dermatologists always recommend zinc oxide for ultra protection, for things like melasma. Zinc oxide can be purchased in a transparent form-doesn’t have to be the white stuff lifeguards use.

guera70ful says:

Thanks for the review Emily but I’ll stick to my Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Liquid Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 70 It doesn’t interfere with your make up and it’s awesome!

Jenny Linehan says:

Thanks for the Review Em…I was wondering what that Purple Bottle was that’s been sitting on top of your cabinet all this time…LoL:) Lotsa Hugs and Love, Jenny

faithslayer500 says:

Great review!! I don’t really know what I think about it now, but I really like having all this info.

Melissa Apeland says:

Would probably be good just for everyday use then…just not for a day in the sun. Thanks for the review! Bottle is fancy! 😉

Andrea Mae says:

Very informative review. SPF is crucial to me as I have very fair, sensitive skin already prone to redness. I gave away my current Neutrogena sunscreen (non-baby version) in a quest to use healthier products. Many Neutrogena sun products contain oxybenzone, methylisothiazolinone, and retinyl palmitate which are linked to cancer, among other health and also beauty problems. I believe that the baby version of the Neutrogena line is slightly better, as it doesn’t contain oxybenzone. I’m trying Josie Maran Argan Daily Moisturizer SPF 47 as what I believe to be a healthier alternative. There are alternatives to those ingredients at a lower price point as well, such as Burt’s Bees, Bull Frog, and Yes to Cucumbers brands.

zeb 1814 says:

hey emily! can you please please do a review on the nyc liquid eyeliner? i’ve seen loads of people using it in videos and i’d love to know your opinion prior to purchasing,

Stephanie Ann says:

I got a pretty big deluxe sample size of the Shiseido Urban Environment (SPF 40) that can be used for face and body and I’ve been using it under my makeup. So far, so good :) I have super sensitive skin and it has been good to me, if anyone is interested they have them in store so ask for a sample!

Jessica Chou says:

Hey Emily, thanks for the great review as always! I came across this article about Neutrogena’s sunscreens, thought you might be interested: http://www.vancitybuzz.com/2015/06/neutrogena-sunscreen-toxic-avoid/

Sabrina t says:

Try Neutrogena pure and free liquid! Even under makeup or with your regular moisturizer! Best mineral sunscreen and not expensive!

hanna, says:

THANK YOU! I was looking for a full review on this product! Was really interested in purchasing, and now I think I’m going to try a mini sample size from Sephora, and then see what I think. Thanks!

Allyson Sixx Costello says:

Great review Emily, I ended up retuning this for the very same reasons you shared in addition to the price. I don’t know what i was thinking spending this much money on a sunscreen. (Impulse purchase) I did however end up purchasing 2 of the Neutrogena baby sunscreen yesterday, 1 for me & 1 for my father . Haven’t tried it yet.

Sherry Murphy says:

Thanks for the review, very informative. I do have a question, I fish and boat every weekend and I have been using sunscreen since it was first introduced. How do you keep the fair skin in the summer. I always wear 50 or more spf but my skin tans (not burn) still. I know you have so many subscribers but I hoped you would be able to help me out, since you mentioned the melasma. Thanks for your time

Sarah Sayer says:

Thank you for the complete review. :) I’m going to stick to my cheap sunscreens, personally.

Shiloh Barkley says:

Designer sunblocks are unnecessary. I said it!

You Tubie says:

I’m not going to get into the big sunscreen debate, but my understanding (and what Ive been told by several dermatologists now) is that for those with pigmentation concerns (like me- I also have melasma and hyper pigmentation), a physical sunscreen (the hard to rub in white stuff – Zinc Oxide and Titamium or Dioxide at high percentage like 18%) is the way to go because of how they work. Apparently chemical sunscreens protect your skin by absorbing broad spectrum rays, while physical sunscreens deflect and block them, meaning your skin will be affected because the sun is still hitting and affecting the superficial layers of your skin, regardless of whether or not you burn.

I’ve been religious, and I mean religious, about wearing sunscreen and have only seen my melasma worsen until a few weeks ago when I’d heard the above info about physical sunscreens. My current sunscreen was similar to the Neutrogena one you described Emily, about 3% Zinc Oxide. I switched to one that I found by Juice Beauty (Sport SPF 30, slightly tinted) with 18% Zinc Oxide that I found at Whole Foods. I was shocked to see how easily it blended/ In a couple weeks, I already started to notice my melasma fading a little bit for the first time in years. Long story short, fragrance is nice, blendability is nice, but buy what suits your skins’ needs. Not what’s on sale or popular. Learn about the ingredients. The white cast sunscreens are getting better and better! You just have to look for them!

Lena Shamseldin says:

Emily Pleeeeeasssseeee review the benefit lisence to blot stick…I really trust ur opinion and I was thinking about getting it

Melanie Rounds says:

The EWG has listed Neutrogena as one of the worst sunscreens to use! “Neutrogena’s advertising hype is further from reality than any other major brand we studied. It claims to be the ‘#1 dermatologist recommended suncare brand, yet all four products highlighted on Neutrogena’s suncare web page rate 7, in the red – worst – zone in out database.” Makes me so sad because I use their sunscreen spray for me and my husband, and the lotions for my kids!

Rosa Pena says:

right now i use the Coppertone OIL FREE FACES broad spectrum spf 30
Its light weight and fast Absorbing and it doesn’t clog pores and its also Dermatologist recommended brand. I wear it under my make up and it works great!! would you say Tarte tarteguard is similar in texture?

Denise G says:

As I found this a great idea I don’t think I would trust it 100%!! You brought up a very good amount of concerns. With the sun we should not be taking any chances with a product like this….sorry Tarte!!! :) Denise

Jade Young says:

Honestly I would rather buy a moisturizer from the drug store with SPF in it…. No need for this product for me!

Jill Heras says:

Don’t forget your hands, they need top notch SFP also

VanitaKay says:

I was really curious about this product! Love your quick reviews

R-E-ODD-NAY says:

Please do a review for the NYX DARK CIRCLE CONCEALER!
It’s my holy grail and it lends itself to a more highlighting concealer afterwards.
Pls thumbs up so she can see this! Lol

Shelly Maither says:

Thanks for this review. I won’t spent $31 dollars for it!!

Diana K says:

i also prefer to use baby sunscreens

kiley.elizabeth says:

there are some great drugstore sunscreens. especially neutrogenas line. xo from my beauty channel to your’s <3
